You are wrong if you think blazer is the only wardrobe staple for girl boss. Today I am going to share some classic off-duty looks created with trench coats.
Trench coats may not be a fall essential for Toronto as we skip fall and go into winter directly LOL, but I can assure you that there will still be some rainy days in which you will feel the need of a trench coat vibe.
When I browse street style photos, I love all the classic and minimal looks rather than the bold colour crazy outfits. I understand how bloggers tend to be more creative with colours to get attention and bring all flashlights on themselves. However most of those outfits are not applicable at all to daily life.
Here are some trench coat looks from past fashion weeks that can be easily recreated.

All you need to recreate this outfit is a classic beige trench coat, mom jeans and black boots.

I love the silver details and the contrast with that black belt.

What did I say??? Trench coats, mom jeans and black boots!
Didn't know beige can look so good with dusty rose colour!

This trench coat is from @toteme, it's been a huge hit last season however it is sold out now.
Not quite into short length trench coats, but this colour can perfectly balance out my orange undertone in my skin. I don't think the classic beige trench coats suit my skin tone really well.
Again, be more fun by layering!

Other than the neutral colours, plaid can be another choice too.
So neat! Great alternative when you don't feel like wearing a blazer to work.
@bayagorbusha:
These trench coats may either be vintage finds or past-season designer styles. As always, don't worry! I've got some similar styles ready for you, so get ready for fall before it's too late!
@Mango, currently out of stock, but they always restock once in a while so activate the alert in case you miss out again:
@Makintosh, more high-end but it's definitely worthy to invest in a good quality piece:
